How a western cowboy
boot should fit:
Because cowboy boots are made of high quality rather stiff leathers and
come in many styles, they can be more difficult to fit than other shoes or boots.
- Generally, order your
boots in the same size you wear in a hiking or work boot.
- If you plan to wear a
thick sock, you probably want to order a half size larger,
- Cowboy boots will probably
be stiff, but if it hurts your foot from the beginning it wilt probably continue
to do so.
- Generally don't expect
too much stretch
- Consider the shape of
your foot when ordering your boots. Decide if the "pointy" toe or the "boxey"
toe style suits your foot better.
- Order the appropriate
width to accommodate your foot and sock thickness.
- Do not order boots too
narrow
- In men's boots:
- men need to order
regular shoe size
- ladies need to order
½ to I size smaller than their regular shoe size depending on how tight
a fit you like
